Cat Tien National Park Trekking 2 Days 1 nightÂ
Cat Tien National Park is a biodiverse treasure located in the tropical forests of southern Vietnam. The park is home to some of the world’s most endangered species and is recognized for the importance of protecting its unique wildlife. A two-hour night cruise into the jungle in a jeep allows visitors to watch wild animals drinking and hear the calls of rhinoceros. Visitors may also see animals such as deer, wild pigs, rabbits, and porcupines.
Day 1: HCM City – Cat Tien (L, D)
After leaving Ho Chi Minh City, a 150 km bus ride through a mountainous area with rubber and coffee plantations leads to the former volcanic crater known as Lava Tubes. Crossing the Dong Nai River to enter the Cat Tien National Park, visitors can begin their wildlife experience. In the afternoon, a three-hour trek through the Reserved Core Area provides the opportunity to see hundreds of years old trees. Visitors return to the center for dinner. Program Highlight: A two-hour night cruise in a jeep into the jungle for spotting wild animals such as deer, wild pigs, rabbits, and porcupines.
Day 2: Cat Tien – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)
Visitors wake up to the cheerful songs of native birds, followed by breakfast to prepare for a four-hour trek to see the Crocodile swamp. After the trek, visitors will return to the headquarters for lunch and take a bus ride back to Ho Chi Minh City.
