Son Tra Peninsula, about 10 km from the center of Da Nang City to the northeast, is a special gift to Da Nang from the gods. It is an ideal place for tourists in Vietnam to visit the city, take a day trip, and experience a different side of Vietnam. Son Tra looks like a mushroom: Son Tra Mountain is the cap, and a beautiful sandy beach forms the stalk, providing an ideal area for bathing, swimming, playing sports, and fishing.
Day 01: Da Nang (L, D)
Upon arrival in Da Nang, guests will be picked up for lunch, enjoying local food, and then proceed to check in at the hotel. Afterward, cross the Thuan Phuoc Bridge to visit Son Tra Peninsula, also known as Monkey Mountain. Guests will drive around Son Tra Peninsula to admire the beauty of the entire city below, visit Linh Ung Pagoda, and enjoy swimming at My Khe Beach, classified as one of the most attractive beaches on earth. Dinner and overnight stay in Da Nang City.
Day 02: Marble Mountain – Hoi An (B, L, D)
The Marble Mountains, also known as Ngu Hanh Son or Mountains of the Five Elements, consist of five marble mountains: Thuy Son (water) which is the highest, Moc Son (wood), Kim Son (metal), Tho Son (soil), and Hoa Son (fire). The Marble Mountains have been developed as a popular tourist destination due to their captivating beauty.
At 08:00, the bus and tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Hoi An Ancient Town. En route to Hoi An, the bus will stop at the Marble Mountains, where you’ll have time to explore Huyen Khong Cave, Tam Thai Pagoda, and the Heaven Gate. Then, you’ll head to the Stone Carving Village of Non-Nuoc to admire stone fine art and buy some nice souvenirs. After that, you’ll move to a restaurant in Hoi An for lunch.
At 14:00, the tour will transfer from the restaurant to Hoi An Ancient Town, where you’ll have the chance to visit the Fukian Assembly Hall, an excellent work of architecture that is also considered a heritage of historical significance, and admire the Japanese Covered Bridge, a beautiful example of Japanese architecture. Spend some time shopping in the ancient town. Then, head back to Da Nang and overnight in Da Nang city.
Day 03: Da Nang – Old capital of Hue (B, L, D)
7:30 AM: A car and tour guide will pick up visitors in Da Nang and travel to Hue City. On the way, we will visit the Hai Van Road tunnel, the longest tunnel in Southeast Asia, and Lang Co Beach.
At 10:30 AM, we will visit the Khai Dinh tomb, a tomb that combines elements of Eastern and Western designs. Then we will have lunch and rest at a restaurant.
At 1:00 PM, we will continue our visit to the Hue imperial city, which was the palace of 13 Nguyen Kings. We will see the Ngo Mon Gate, the Library, the Thai Hoa Palace, and the Nine Dynastic Urns. We will also visit Thien Mu Pagoda, which is associated with the culture and history of Hue.
At 3:30 PM, we will return to Danang or have dinner at a restaurant. We will stay overnight in Hue City.
Day 04: Hue or Da Nang Departure (B)
After breakfast, guests will be sent off.
