DETAIL ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi arrival – Private airport pick up – Overnight at hotel in the Old Quarter. (Welcomed dinner).

Upon your arrival at the airport, a private car and driver will pick you up and take you to the hotel in the Old Quarter.
Overnight at Hanoi Golden Legend Palace Hotel or similar.

DAY 2: Hanoi – Mai Chau Valley (B, L, D)

7:30-8:00: Pickup at your hotel in the Old Quarter in our comfortable van/bus

10:00: Short break

11:30-12:00: Scenic photo stop of Mai Chau Valley/arrive in Mai Chau

12:15: Traditional lunch in our home(vegetarian available)

14:00-16:30: Bicycle ride with your tour guide, observe farmers working in fields, witness local scarf weaving, and explore peaceful surrounding villages.

16:30-18:00: Free time for cycling, walking, shopping

19:00: Dinner and Overnight in the homestay/Private Bungalow

Overnight at a private basic Bungalow.

DAY 3: Mai Chau – Pu Luong Nature Reserve (B, L, D)

7:30-8:30 – Breakfast time

8:30-10:30 – Drive 35 km to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. We will make stops on the way to see chopstick factories and take photos.

10:30 – 12:30 – Arrival at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. After a 10-minute break, we will begin trekking to explore the beautiful scenery of the mountains and stunning rice terraces.

12:30 – 15:30 – Enjoy lunch in the village and rest before resuming trekking and then driving back to Mai Chau.

19:00 – Enjoy dinner and get a comfortable sleep to recharge for the next day’s activities.

Overnight in your homestay/ basic Private Bungalow

Day 4: Explore the more remote rural villages (B, L)

07:30 – Enjoy breakfast at the homestay

08:00 – Depart with a local Thai tour guide to visit remote rural villages: Na Meo, Na Mo, and Xam Pa. This will provide an opportunity to learn about the culture and customs of these villages.

12:00 – Return to the homestay for lunch and check-out

13:00 – 15:00 – Free time for shopping and relaxing.

15:30 – Board the van/bus for the journey back to Hanoi.

19:00 – Arrival in Hanoi Old Quarter. You will be dropped off at the hotel.

Overnight at Hanoi Golden Legend Palace Hotel or similar.

Day 5: Hanoi – Take shared limousine bus to Ha Long – Explore Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay (B, L, D).

The 2-day tour on the 5-star Amanda Luxury Cruise:

08:00 – 08:30: Pick-up time: A shared limousine bus will pick up guests from hotels around the Old Quarter to begin the exploration of Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay.

11:30 – 12:00: Arrival at Tuan Chau Harbor.

12:00: Transfer to the main boat by tender and embark on the 5-star Amanda Luxury Cruise. Upon arrival, the cruise manager will deliver a briefing and safety introduction while you enjoy a welcome drink. Afterward, you will check in to your cabin.

13:00: Enjoy a fabulous lunch as the cruise sails into magnificent Ha Long Bay, passing famous landmarks such as Finger Islet and Candle Islet, along with numerous uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.

15:30: Explore Tra Bau floating village, with the following options based on weather conditions:

Option 1: Swimming at Ba Trai Dao Island.

Option 2: Visit the fishing village of “Tra Bau” and join a kayaking experience to explore the Tra Bau area, famous as the filming location for Kong Skull Island (King Kong) in Quang Ninh in 2018.

 

17:00 – 18:00: Participate in the Sunset Party, Happy Hour, and Cooking Class activities. Enjoy the sunset over Lan Ha Bay, and indulge in a special Happy Hour deal with a cooking demonstration offered onboard.

19:00: Savor a deluxe dinner while enjoying the incredible night view of Lan Ha Bay.

21:00 – 23:00: Engage in special overnight activities, such as squid fishing, enjoying drinks at the bar, movies, spa therapy, or simply relaxing in your room.

Day 6: Lan Ha Bay – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L)

06:00 – 7:00: Start your day with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck of the 5Star Amanda Luxury Cruise. Enjoy a light breakfast in the morning as the cruise continues to pass amazing karst towers. Tea, coffee, and a light breakfast are served in the fresh air and peaceful surroundings.

08:00: Explore Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay.

Visit the Dark and Bright cave, famous for its pristine natural beauty and poetic seascape. Take photos of the romantic and lyrical local sights. This is also the best time for tourists to enjoy a bamboo boat or kayaking, which is an interesting activity to discover the true beauty of the Limestone Mountains and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay.

09:00: Return to the boat for check-out.

10:00: It’s brunch time. Enjoy a well-prepared lunch as our cruise slowly navigates emerald waters and thousands of Karst Mountains towards the Harbor.

11:00 – 11:30: Return to Tuan Chau Harbor.

11:30 – 12:30: Get picked up by a shared limousine bus back to Hanoi Old Quarter.

15:00 – 15:30: Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Overnight at Golden Legend Palace Hotel or similar – 1 deluxe room.

Day 7: Hanoi-Hoa Lu – Trang An – Mua Cave 1 day – Back Hanoi. (B, L).

7:30: Get picked up by our friendly guide then depart for Ninh Binh province
09:15 – Take a 15-20 minute break to relax.

10:30 – Visit Hoa Lư, the ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You’ll have the chance to learn about Vietnamese history during the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties’ feudal system.

11:45 – Enjoy a lunch buffet at the restaurant.

13:00 – Visit Trang An, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An features a wonderful tunnel cave system, which was chosen for the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island.” During the 2-hour boat trip, you will be captivated by the beauty of this place.
Please take note of the following itinerary:

15:00: Continue the tour for 45 minutes. This will involve cycling around the village to discover the local way of life.

15:45: Return to the private 16-seat car and head to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Embark on a 500-step climb to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc.

17:00: Board the bus to return to Hanoi.

19:00: Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi, where the trip concludes. You will be staying overnight at the Golden Legend Palace Hotel in a deluxe room.

Day 8: Hanoi free day – Take flight to the next destination: (B).

You are free and then get transferred to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
