Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Airport pick up to hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
Transfer: International flight – your arrangement
Upon arrival in Hanoi, we will be welcomed by Highlights of Vietnam car and driver, who will transfer us to a hotel in the city center. After check-in, we can relax.
Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2: Hanoi – Bai Dinh Pagoda – Trang An Tourism Complex – Mua Cave – Hanoi (B, L)
7:30 – 8:00: Pick up by our friendly guide and depart for Ninh Binh province
9:15: Short break for 15 – 20 minutes to relax
10:30: Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda – the most famous and biggest Pagoda in Southeast Asia with many records such as 500 Stone – Arhat Statues, 36 ton-bronze Bell, 100 ton-Budhha Statue…
11:00: Lunch at the restaurant, with a variety of local foods and vegetarian options
13:00: Visit Trang An, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Enjoy a 2.5-hour boat trip to explore the beautiful tunnel cave system
15:30: Return to the Limousine Bus, then leave for Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Climb almost 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain and enjoy an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc
17:00: Return to Hanoi, drop off at the hotel

Day 3: Hanoi – Take a limousine bus to Sapa – Visit Fansipan mountain by cable car (B, L, D)
Please ask the hotel to prepare your breakfast to go.
6:30 AM: Our team will pick you up from your hotel and depart for Sapa.
Enjoy beautiful scenery along the road
12:00: After a 5-hour drive with a short break en route, arrive in Sapa Town. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and have a short rest.
After lunch, your guide will take you to explore Fansipan Mountain by cable car.
A private driver and guide will take you to Fansipan Cable Car station to begin your journey to the point of 2800m, then continue to the summit at an altitude of 3,143m – the “Roof of Indochina”. Two cable car tickets are included. The guide will wait for you to come down and will not accompany you in the cable car.
Then you will be transferred back to your hotel in Sapa.

Day 4: Trekking through Muong Hoa Valley (B, L)
After breakfast, the guide will take you to the villages of the Hmong and Dzay, called Lao Chai Village and Ta Van Village. The day will be devoted to a beautiful hike through the breathtaking scenery of Sapa Valley. We will start by the road that descends in the wake of the street Cau May (6 km). En route, we will admire the rice terraces hidden behind the morning mist, which is a truly awe-inspiring sight.
We will follow a small track, cross the Muong Hoa River, and pass well-tended rice terraces on our way to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. Continuing through the colorful rice terraces, we will reach the village of Ta Van Giay. As we continue our trek along the Muong Hoa River, we will cross a small suspension bridge, roughly 2 km from the settlement. Here, we can discover a fascinating collection of rock carvings. These engravings depict beautiful images of man, stilt houses, and some beautiful decorative patterns. We will have lunch at a home in the village. After lunch, the walk will continue through a bamboo forest to visit the Red Dao ethnic minority village. After taking a rest near a waterfall to refresh, we will start climbing uphill to a road where the car is ready for our journey back to Sapa.

Day 5: Cat Cat Village – Bus limousine back to Hanoi (B, L)
We will have breakfast at the hotel, then the guide will take us to visit Cat Cat, a small but bustling village situated at the foot of Fansipan Mountain. Here we will see traditional Hmong homes at their best, and we will be able to meet a Hmong family to learn more about their way of life. The village is also the perfect place to see traditional clothing being made, hemp being dyed, and women weaving. Then we will visit a beautiful waterfall. After that, we will get a transfer back to the Sapa hotel, have some rest, and check out and have lunch.
Around 2:30 pm, we will get on a bus back to Hanoi. The bus will arrive at Hanoi around 9:00 pm, and we will be picked up and taken back to the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Day 6: Hanoi – Sun Pier – Cong Do – Cap La Island (B, L, D)
8:30 – 8:45 am: A limousine bus will pick us up from the hotel in Hanoi to start our trip to explore the most amazing bay in the North of Vietnam. On the way, we will have a quick stop at the middle of the way to rest and to have a glance at Hai Duong Province and taste their traditional “Green bean cake.”
12:30: We will arrive at our office at Sun Pier, where we will have a bit of time to relax and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee. We will wait for our captain to finish the registration and then transfer by tender to our boat.
12:45: We will enjoy a welcome drink and spend a couple of minutes for a safety briefing on the boat and activities included, and then we will check in our cabin.
13:30: A delicious Vietnamese set menu will be served while leisurely cruising further into Bai Tu Long Bay.
15:00: We will arrive in the kayaking area – Cap La Island. Here, we can enjoy kayaking through the karst and breathtaking nature, swimming, and relaxing.
17:30: We will get back to the boat and enjoy our Sunset party while our cruise sails to the overnight anchorage.
19:00: A sumptuous set dinner will be served onboard.
20:30: We will have free time to challenge ourselves in Vietnamese puzzle games, gather your group/family for a board game, try your luck with squid fishing, or simply have a cocktail and enjoy the quiet night on the bay.

Day 7: Thien Canh Son Cave – Sun Pier – Return to Hanoi (B, L)
06:00: We will start the day with a Tai Chi routine on sundeck or catch a morning view of the stunning bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.
07:00: Breakfast will be served in a Western style.
08:00: We will explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.
09:00: Upon return to the boat, we will have about 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing.
10:00: We will attend a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. You can quickly learn a simple but delicious Vietnamese dish that Gordon Ramsay (a 2 Michelin Star Chef) used to guide – Nem Cuon, or challenge yourself in fruit and vegetable carving.
11:00: We will enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch on the boat.
12:00: We will head back to the harbor and disembark in Hon Gai Pier.
12:30: Farewell Halong Bay, then our bus will take us back to Hanoi.
The trip finishes at around 17:00. You are free to relax and overnight in a hotel in Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi – Flight to Ho Chi Minh (B)
On this day, you will have breakfast at the hotel and then have free time to explore the city. You can try local specialties such as Egg coffee, Banh My, and Beef noodles. Afterward, you can visit Dong Xuan market for shopping, where you can find items such as spring roll wrappers, coffee, and fruit. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City and Cu Chi Tunnel One Day (B, L)
You will be picked up between 7:30 am and 8:00 am for a morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace. Then, you’ll see other French Colonial landmarks such as Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. After that, you will visit the War Remnants Museum. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. Afterward, you will depart for the Cu Chi tunnels, where you will receive an introduction and watch a video about their construction. You’ll have time to explore the tunnel systems and the various facilities within. You can also try shooting a real gun if you’re interested. At the end of the day, you’ll be returned to your hotel.
Please note: The Notre Dame Cathedral is currently being restored, so guests can only visit the outside.

Day 10: Mekong River My Tho Ben Tre 1 Day (B, L)
You will leave Ho Chi Minh City and head to My Tho, a town on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, you will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda and then take a sampan cruise around the Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands. You will stop at Unicorn Island to walk around the countryside, visit orchards, and enjoy local music. You’ll also visit a fruit plantation and take a hand-rowed sampan ride through the Thoi Son canal, where you will visit a family business, a honey-bee farm, and a coconut candy workshop. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will have the option to cycle around Tan Thach village or relax in a hammock. You will return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City around 5:30 pm.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City Free Time and Relaxation (B)
This day is for your relaxation and free time after your trip to Vietnam. You can plan to visit the city, shop at Ben Thanh Market, enjoy street food and beer at the lively Bui Vien Street at night, and take a walk along the Saigon River for a nice view.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh – Flight Home (B)
Transfer via: International flight – your arrangement. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
